The jam version is still available as a downloadable file. I just wanted to thank everyone who said they would play more of my game, and I still had a lot of ideas. I hope you'll enjoy the new levels!
Developed by a one person team (me) for the Mini Jam 128, The Language of Life is a cute and colorful puzzle game that dives deep in what makes life possible.
In The Language of Life, you play as a cell from an unknown organism. You must assemble proteins from amino acids to overcome the challenges that you'll encounter during your cell life.
To do so, follow the instructions from your DNA to link the cute amino acids together in the right order! Unlock your cell's powers as you go and complete all the levels!

It took me a while to understand the rules at first, but once I understood the rules, I enjoyed solving the puzzle as if it was linked to the neural network in my brain as I combined the amino acids!
A lovely game! While all the levels bring something new, my favorite ones are 6, 7 and 8 which require some tricky moves. There are 3 mechanics in the game - connect, swap, flip - which interact with each other to create some truly puzzling yet rewarding levels.
